Per the mayor and council of Offerle:

Effective immediately the dumpster in the city park by the restrooms will be permanently removed due to people dumping animal carcasses and people complaining about cats and the smell. We've asked that the public would stop dumping house hold items in it and the dead turkey that was in it is the last straw. We will make arrangements for garbage within the city park at a later date.

The city is available for any tree hauling at an hourly rate to the county dump until we can establish a new burn pit outside of city limits. Thank you..
