The City of Oelwein sends a heartfelt thank you to the Fayette County Community Foundation for funding assistance in purchasing new diving boards for the Oelwein Family Aquatic Center. The diving boards are a staple for the kids that provide not only recreational fun but the opportunity to practice a safe, controlled way for people to enter the water. The boards were purchased through local business Carrico Aquatic Resources Inc. A big thank you to the foundation, board members, donors and nonprofit partners that all contribute to promote the recreational resources in Fayette County.

A big thank you to Buchanan County Health Center for sponsoring a free swim event today. We had a terrific turnout and excellent weather for the event. Guards, front desk, concession staff and managers all did a great job today making sure everyone stayed safe. BCHC has sponsored this event for several years and we thank them for their continued support!
