Republic Services will be running on Monday the 7th. They will have 2 trucks in the area and they will be here early. They recommended that our residents have their bins out Sunday night due to them coming early to start Monday.

EMERGENCY WATER SHUT OFF & BOIL ORDER

The Town of Odon has issued an emergency water shut off and boil order after a hydrant was struck at the corner of Mill Street and Sycamore Street.

Possible impacted areas include South Spring Street, Mill Street, South Sycamore Street, and possibly Park Street. Additional areas may be impacted as repairs are made.

Anyone affected will remain under a boil order until further notice. Water will not be cleared for normal use until 3 clear water tests have been completed.

The boil order for the Highway is lifted and there are no longer any active boil orders within the Town of Odon.

Attention to our customers,

The water on HWY 58 will be off briefly this afternoon for work being done on the water main. The areas included will be along the Highway between Jeffers Auto Parts and The Odon Christian Church. The guys will work diligently to get the water back on as soon as possible, and anyone who has their water service off during that time will be under a boil order. The rules for a boil order are as follows: Any water being used for consumption must be boiled at a rolling boil for 5 minutes.

This wallet was turned in and was found near the Band Stand in the Odon Park today. We are assuming it was lost during Old Settlers. If anyone is missing this wallet please come collect it from the Town Hall. There are photos inside however no IDs or major credit cards/debit cards so we assume it may be a child’s wallet.
