Republic Services has reached out and asked us to update the residents that trash WILL be picked up on Monday May 25th, which is Memorial Day. However, the trash truck will be arriving EARLY compared to his normal schedule. Please change the time you pull out your bins accordingly!

The Boil Order for Horning Drive, Country View Apartments, and anyone else effected from last weeks emergency is now lifted.

There are no longer ANY Boil Orders for the Town of Odon still in effect.

An IU art history course partnered with the Town of Odon through Sustaining Hoosier Communities to uncover the history of Odon’s Abraham Lincoln statue

An emergency water shut off has been issued to, but not limited to, Horning Drive and Country View Apartments (Race Street), due to a water line being hit.

If you experience a loss of water service or live at one of the above listed areas you will be under a boil order until further notice.

Boil Order Instructions:
For any water being used for consumption you must first boil it at a rolling boil for 5 minutes before use.

As always the Town of Odon workers will continue to work on this until water service is restored.

This Saturday the dumpsters will be available for Town of Odon Residents only.

Unaccepted Items
Items the landfill will not accept by Law include:

Yard Waste (This includes grass clippings, shrubs, and trees)
Free Liquids (Such as paint, oil, pesticides, etc.)
Car and Truck Batteries
Car and Truck Bodies
Dead Animals

We’re excited to share that beginning in May, Odon Town Hall will be extending our office hours to better serve our community!

New office hours will be:
Monday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Saturday: Closed
Sunday: Closed

We hope these extended evening hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays make it more convenient for residents to stop by and take care of business.

Available services include: notary, park and community building rentals, utility billing questions and concerns, golf cart registrations, public records requests.

Please note: The following services will not be available after 4:00 PM: water line shut-offs and turn-on requests, checking meters for leaks, gathering meter data, or 811 requests to locate water and sewer lines.
