Pictures
A photographer will be present to take pictures at the Hyatt (left at the top of the escalator).

If you approve, $10 will provide access to a formatted digital copy, which can be printed as large as 16’’x 24’’.

Copies printed on matte paper will also available for order will be. Purchasing details will be available at the event.

Childcare
A team of licensed childcare providers, led by Ms T-Wana Cobb, will be available at the Hyatt from 1800-2330.
The cost will be covered by the Family Readiness Program.
Ensure you fill out Childcare Registration Forms: Parents must contact Ms Cobb directly at [email protected].
A completed Emergency Form (available shortly on e-Marine, message to follow) for each child must be emailed no later than 1700 on Wednesday, 9 Oct.
No children unscheduled for childcare will be accepted on the night of the event for health/safety reasons.

EVENT INFORMATION: The event will go on rain or shine. If there is inclement weather, the event will be held in the sheltered Concourse of Nationals Park. Although there is no Nationals game that day, security will still be checking bags just as they would on a game day. Strollers are permitted. No outside food or beverage is permitted (baby formula, sippy cups, and small snack items for children are okay).

Tickets will be available for pick-up at Leisure Travel Services, 2300 Wilson Street, Fort Meade. Tickets are available to Active Duty Service Members, their family members, Retirees and Fort Meade DoD Civilians. I.D. will be required.

Announcement!!

Please be aware that on Saturday 1 June 2013 there will be a significant PFC Manning demonstration outside Ft Meade. Avoiding Hwy 175/Annapolis Rd during the demonstration is strongly recommended.

Ft Meade will post demonstration updates via http://www.ftmeade.army.mil/ and https://www.facebook.com/FtMeade.

Bradley Manning supporters are demonstrating at the Reece rd gate from 1300-evening. Event will include a march to LLewellyn Gate and back. Expected crowd is from 800 to 1,400.

This will result in gate closures Reece will be closing Saturday 0500 until evening and Rockenbach will be opening at 0500 for visiting traffic.

Possible Route Restrictions:
One eastbound lane of 175 closing 10:00. Additional lanes and potentially all of 175 and Reece rd (outside the gate) will close, pending size of crowd. Detours and traffic flow will be managed by Anne Arundel Co Police.

A free career fair for veterans and military spouses will be held May 24 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at M&T Bank Stadium, 1101 Russell St., Baltimore.

RecruitMilitary is co-sponsoring Hiring Our Heroes/RecruitMilitary Veteran Opportunity Expo in partnership with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

The career fair is for veterans with civilian work experience, service members transitioning from active duty to civilian life, members of the National Guard and Reserves, military spouses and other military family members.

Military Appreciation Barbecue
The USO's third annual Military Appreciation Barbecue will be held June 1 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the courtyard at the Freedom Center Barracks.

Food will include hamburgers, hot dogs, side dishes and desserts.
