Attention Residents:

Our garbage truck was towed in for repairs this morning. Recycling pick-up will be postponed until tomorrow (Friday, June 5, 2026).

You can leave your bin on the curb if you have a cover. If you do not have a cover, you may want to bring it back in, due to possible storms tonight.

We apologize for the inconvenience. We do have a plan in place for the replacement of our old truck.

SPRING WATER MAIN FLUSHING
CITY OF OCONTO

The Oconto Utility Commission will be flushing water mains in all areas south of the Oconto River on Monday, May 18, 2026.

In all areas north of the Oconto River, West of and including Superior Avenue on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 19 & 20, 2026.

In all areas north of the Oconto River, East of Superior Avenue, on Thursday and Friday, May 21 & 22, 2026.

Due to certain water main connections, other areas could be affected, please check your water for discoloration before using laundry.

Thanks to all of you for the incredible help! We are keeping this list for future events. It was a very difficult decision because there are so many great food trucks! We hope you will join us at the fundraiser for basket raffles, 50/50 raffles, and more! Details will be shared soon!

Attention City of Oconto Residents:

The City of Oconto Public Works Chipper Truck is currently under repair.
We hope to have it up and running by the end of the week. Please be patience as we will get to everyone’s brush piles as soon as we can.
Just a reminder BRUSH IS NOT ALLOWED AT THE YARD WASTE SITE and violators will be ticketed.
