Jennie Fidler - OPL Special Services Coordinator - is looking for Friends' volunteers to help with the OPL booth at the Farmers Market this summer. The booth is manned by a staff member and a volunteer - promoting the library and providing a craft for kids.

A big THANK YOU to everyone who donated books, volunteered to move, sort and sell books. And to everyone who purchased books.
Our Spring Used Book Sale was a great success.
Our Co-Chairs for the sale - Jen C and Sue B spent many, many hours working to ensure everything went smoothly.
Now it's time to think about our Fall Sale. Please check our book donation criteria list before donating.

The books have been sorted and are ready for the OPL Friends Used Book Sale this weekend.
Thank you to all of the volunteers who moved books on Tuesday and sorted on Wednesday. We couldn't do this without you.

The Friends of OPL Used Book Sale is coming soon - Friday, April 17-Sunday, April 19th.
Stacey P is modeling our new aprons with the Friends logo. The aprons and many more library and Friends items are available on our Bonfire site.

The Spring and Fall Used Book Sales at OPL are the biggest fundraisers for the OPL Friends Group. Friends' members can shop before the public sale begins. You can join the Friends of OPL at the Book Sale, or by filling out a form available at the library(and including a check or cash).

The OPL Friends Used Book Sale is coming soon. We need volunteers to join our Book Brigade. This group meets as needed to sort donated books prior to the actual sale. The Friends of the OPL had their quarter 1 meeting last night. We approved our updated bylaws. We also heard that our ink cartridge recycling has been successfully raising funds for the Friends. Thanks to everyone who donates. Please check what cartridges are eligible for recycling. Thanks to Ron Pierce for his time sorting and mailing these.

We talked about joining the OPL staff at their booth at Kids Fest in August. Volunteers to help at the booth may be needed. Watch the Friends Page in the monthly OPL newletter and the Friends FB page.
We also need volunteers for our newly established group - the Book Bridgade. Used books that are donated for our Spring and Fall Used Book Sales need to be presorted. With our new donation criteria we hope to make the sorting days and sale days easier.

Lastly, please be sure to renew your Friends yearly membership. You can scan the QR code in the library's newletter on the Friends page, fill out a form available at the library (enclose check or cash). Or you can join at the Used Book Sale. Members can shop early at the sale on Friday April 17th from 4-6pm.
