Friday Feature: Meet Hannah.

Hannah has been a .lakes.fire for almost a year. She is a high school junior who is enrolled in the WCTC Fire & EMS Dual Enrollment program next school year to become a certified and . She has participated in many Post 4732 meetings and trainings and is a frequent participant at our morning workouts.

Hannah was a member of at the American Lung Association in and the Blood Cancer United at . She also attends service and fundraising opportunities. She is a frequent volunteer and was just elected by her peers as the Post President! Congratulations!

At our latest training, the Western Lakes Fire District learned about Rapid Intervention Team by reaching a . Our senior Explorers who have been through Fire 1 led the demonstration and training.

is dangerous work. We need to know how to effectively search for and rescue victims. We need to know how to save ourselves. We need to know how to rescue our brothers and sisters. Explorers gain a small understanding in our training.

The Western Lakes Fire Explorers Post 4732 will be serving food to help raise funds for the cadet program and future trips. Other featured vendors include Oconomowoc’s own Big Dawg's Hotdogs, Taqueria Doblado, Mike’s Brunch and Lunch, LLC, Delafield’s newest Nothing Bundt Cakes, and Kona Ice.

After you feed the kids, let them burn off some energy in the fire truck bounce house while you explore our fire apparatus, equipment displays, and demonstrations.

'Tis the season for celebrating accomplishments!
Western Lakes Fire District are graduating from their & programs! Cassie has successfully passed her Emergency Medical Technician training at Lake Country Fire & Rescue Training Center! Brady & Lucius graduated from the WCTC Fire & EMS Dual Enrollment program with EMT licenses and Firefighter 1 certification! Congratulations to our seniors!
