Take an early morning walk with me through Liberty Station in Point Loma, San Diego. This area is an old United States Naval Training Center. Parts of Top Gun were filmed here!

Wander through the arts district, parks, public market, and lots more while watching planes fly overhead from nearby San Diego International Airport.

This spot is about 2 hours south of Disneyland, a perfect accompaniment to a SeaWorld, San Diego Zoo, or other day trip.
