For those of you interested, there is a reunion type bonfire scheduled for 7/25 at the pier. It is a byo-everything type gathering, everyone and all classes ate invited.

Camping trip this summer? Who is in?

Some of us are interested in going hunting this fall. If you are interested in learning or joining us, please comment on this post. There will be a hunting safety course on a Sunday that will allow you to get your CA hunting license in September. We will send you the link through PM to RSVP to the hunting safety course (this page won't let me post the link for some reason). Hopefully we can get a group of people to go on a trip together soon. Both archery and fi****ms are welcome.

As some of you know, there is a group of us trying to revive the Oceanside Moose Lodge. We would love to tell you about it and have you join us in our efforts! The Moose Lodge is a FAMILY friendly fraternity that focuses on community support like scholarships and sports sponsorships, hosting events like dinners, dances, bingo, BBQs, karaoke, and a slew of other social events, and they have a full bar. Hey Wildcats... a group of us, both from ECHS and the community are going to attempt to revive the Oceanside Moose Lodge, a family fraternity that has a long history here in Oceanside. Its a great place for families to participate in community events and membership-only events like BBQ's, dances, game nights, pool tournaments, holiday parties, etc. There is also a full bar there and has 21+ activities as well. The Moose does great things for the community and you're all welcome to join in on the revival efforts. Please let us know if you're interested in helping out, learning more and/or becoming a member. Its only $20 a year for females and $35 a year for males and anyone under 21 is free to join in on the lodge activities. The lodge is currently run by a couple of really old folks that are tired and ready to relinquish leadership to a younger generation. The building itself needs a lot of TLC but the possibilities of making it a locals hangout where community efforts like sports team sponsorship, high school graduate scholarships, etc can be reborn in our community through lodge revival efforts.
