Good morning Ocean Township! Although school is about to start, it is never too early to provide some important info about our 2026 Santa Visit Fundraiser.

📝 The Google Form to sign up will go live on 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 at 𝟗𝐚𝐦. The list 𝐖𝐈𝐋𝐋 fill up and be closed 𝙒𝙄𝙏𝙃𝙄𝙉 𝙏𝙃𝙀 1𝙨𝙩 𝙃𝙊𝙐𝙍, as it has the past few years. Be sure to sign up early to guarantee your spot!

📋 When the sign up list closes, a Wait List will open. This wait list 𝑫𝑶𝑬𝑺 𝑵𝑶𝑻 guarantee you a visit. If time slots open due to cancellations, we will move to the stand by list.

🔒The wait list will also close quickly. When the wait list form shows a “not accepting new submissions” message, the 2026 Santa Visit Fundraiser is closed.

Today, the Wanamassa Fire Company responded to a residential structure fire. This incident demonstrated the importance of automatic aid from surrounding departments on the initial dispatch. The immediate response of additional personnel and resources is critical to protecting lives and property and limiting further damage.

I would like to thank the departments that responded and assisted in bringing the fire under control: Oakhurst Independent Hose Company, Asbury Park Fire Department, Deal Fire Department, Neptune City Fire Department, Wayside Fire Company, Tinton Falls Fire Company #1
I would also like to thank the Allenhurst, Avon, and Eatontown Fire Departments for providing coverage to the Township while our companies were committed at the scene.
This was another strong example of neighboring fire departments working together. Thank you to everyone who responded and assisted.

Crews are currently operating at a box alarm structure fire on Bryan Ave.

Wickapecko Drive is currently closed. Avoid the area.

Our area is expected to be impacted by a strong storm tomorrow, which will bring the following:

🌧️ Heavy rainfall that may cause localized flooding in low-lying, flood prone areas.

💨 Damaging winds that could bring down power lines, trees and move any unsecured outdoor items.

🚘 NEVER drive through any flooded roads.

🍂 Please make sure to keep brush clear of the curb line to allow for proper runoff and to also aid in keeping drains clear.

⚠️ If you observe any downed power lines, please stay clear and call 911.

New round of storms coming

🔥ʙᴏx ᴀʟᴀʀᴍ ꜱᴛʀᴜᴄᴛᴜʀᴇ ꜰɪʀᴇ🔥

Shortly before 2am, our Company was requested into Asbury Park for a structure fire. Engine 75 and Chief 66 responded, established a secondary supply line and the crew stood by for manpower.

A great job by the first arriving Asbury Park Fire Department units, who quickly brought the fire under control.

Battalion Chief 8368 was in the incident commander.
