As TRL as a system faces a major budget shortfall, ensuring our libraries continue to be staffed is a priority!

In addition, if you want to support our local branches in their programming efforts, join Friends! We are working to fundraise to support the libraries as they navigate smaller programming budgets as well.

The Friends Group exists to support additional projects and programs that the local libraries put on that are not included in funding from TRL. We love our local libraries & hope you can help make sure everyone knows how great they are!

ONE DAY Book Sale at Ocean Park Library - Saturday, July 12th from 10am-4pm.

The Friends are accepting book donations in small quantities (one or two grocery-size bags) of books in good condition that are relatively current fiction or non-fiction. We are not able to take textbooks, encyclopedias, or Bibles.

All proceeds from the sale support and fund programs outside Timberland's budgeted expenses, like reading programs and community events.

Friends of the Ilwaco and Ocean Park Libraries has their first meeting of the year this Tuesday. It is: February 4th at 3pm in the Illwaco meeting room adjacent to the library. We will be electing officers and making fund raising plans for the year.

The Friends funded a prize basket for the Peace of Mind Pacific County 2024 event. Here is the happy family who won the prize.
