5:30 PM - Dinner (BBQ from Sonny's, including sides and desserts)

6:30 PM - Movie screening: "The Great Awakening"

The film is framed around an older Benjamin Franklin struggling with the gridlock of the 1789 Constitutional Convention.

The story follows Whitefield, a powerful orator who sparked a massive religious revival across the American colonies in the 1730's and 1740's.

The film emphasizes the idea that self-governance and true liberty require more than just written laws; they depend on the moral awakening of the people.

** If anyone does not wish to attend the dinner, you are welcome to attend just the movie.

We will have popcorn and snacks available to purchase.

All proceeds go directly to getting out the vote for our upcoming midterms.
