Thank you, Ohio Power! 💛

Ohio Power Company has approved $10,000 in funding to support the Obetz Food Pantry, senior lunch programs, essential supplies and nutrition outreach.

This generous support will help us serve neighbors in need throughout the year and provide additional assistance during the upcoming holiday season. We’re grateful for this partnership and its impact on our community!

❄️ Salt smart this winter!

As we wrap up Stormwater Awareness Week, remember: melting snow and ice can carry salt into storm drains and our waterways. A little goes a long way!

✅ SHOVEL: Clear walkways before snow turns to ice.
✅ SCATTER: Spread salt sparingly and evenly.
✅ SWEEP: Once surfaces are dry, sweep up leftover salt and save it for reuse.

Thank you for following along and helping protect Obetz’s waterways—every season of the year! 💧

🍂 Keep fall leaves out of the street!

Rain can wash leaves into storm drains, creating clogs and carrying excess nutrients into our waterways.

Put those leaves to good use:
✅ Mulch them with your mower to nourish your lawn.
✅ Add them to your compost pile.
✅ Keep them out of streets, gutters, and storm drains.

A little fall cleanup helps keep Obetz’s drains flowing and waterways healthy! 💧
