✨ THE WAIT IS OVER—meet the Leadership Lorain County Signature Class of 2027!

These 36 leaders represent the businesses, nonprofits, schools, government agencies, and community organizations that help Lorain County thrive. They bring different experiences, perspectives, talents, and ideas—but they share a commitment to becoming stronger leaders and making a difference in our community.

Their journey begins this Wednesday with our Kickoff and Road Rally! Over the next nine months, they will experience Lorain County in a whole new way, build relationships across sectors, challenge themselves, and discover how they can create meaningful change together.

📢City of Oberlin Awarded $1 Million State Grant

The City of Oberlin is thrilled to announce that it is the recipient of a $1 million Residential Economic Development District grant from the State of Ohio Department of Development! The grant will be used to support the development of a proposed 125-unit workforce housing community and extend critical sanitary sewer infrastructure along U.S. Route 20.

“This is a major investment in Oberlin’s future,” said Oberlin City Manager Greg Holcomb. “The $1 million REDD grant allows us to make a critical infrastructure investment that directly supports new workforce housing while also helping us prepare for future economic development along U.S. Route 20.”
