Whether you're interested in sustainability or just dreading raking your yard this year, join Black River Audubon Society Executive Director Rob Swindell at OPL on Monday, September 21st for a special presentation exploring the ecological benefits of leaving fallen leaves in your yard instead of raking them away. Leaf litter provides essential habitat for pollinators, enriches soil health, and supports local wildlife while reducing waste and labor. Discover simple ways to embrace this natural process for a healthier, more sustainable landscape.

Presentation will be held at 6pm in the Community Room

Sponsored by Oberlin Public Library & Native Plant Garden Club of Oberlin.

This event will take place 11am - 1pm in the Community Room. Registration is recommended for this event, register at oberlinlibrary.org/events.
