ATTENTION: The Oberlin City Hall will be closed today, Monday, July 15, due to inclement weather and flooding. We have been informed that the Allen Parish Civic Center will be open for anyone needing shelter. We would urge everyone to stay off the roads for their safety and to help protect homes and property from damage. Please stay safe and don't drive through standing water.

Mayor Joseph (Moochie) Manuel and The Town of Oberlin is issuing a Proclamation stating that Tuesday, May 14, 2019, the City Hall will be closed in honor of the Oberlin High School Baseball team. They are making history, heading to the Louisiana State Finals for the first time ever, with Coach Greg Manuel, Asst. Coach's Abraham McCleon, Jr., and Cameron Durio. The team will be leaving Oberlin, LA at approximately 8:30 a.m.

Everyone is invited to join us on main street at 8:00 a.m. to cheer our boys on as they make history!

The Town of Oberlin is excited to be celebrating Earth Day with a Neighborhood Clean-up Day. Please come out and meet us on Saturday, April 27, 2019, at 8:00 a.m. at the Memorial Park (off of Hwy 165). For more information please call City Hall at 337-639-4333.

Effective immediately the Town of Oberlin’s phones are up and running. Thanks for your patience during our move.

Effective immediately Oberlin City Hall will be closed for renovation. We will be relocated to the LSU Ag Center at 616 Court Street, Oberlin, LA. Our hours of business during this temporary move will be Monday thru Thursday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. to 12 noon. At this time we are unsure how long we will be in our temporary offices. Improvements being made on the City Hall will be to bring us into compliance with federal guidelines. We will post more information as it becomes available. Thank you for your patience while we relocate.
