The city is working on a leak repair on W Oak Street. All homes believed to be impacted by the water turn off for the repair have been notified.

It is estimated that the water will be off for the repair from 6pm-8pm.

US Representative Emily Randall's team will be in Grays Harbor County this week. Here is what they said:

"...our congressional casework team will be in Grays Harbor this week to assist constituents experiencing issues with federal agencies.

Our team can help with matters involving the VA, Social Security, Medicare, HUD, the IRS, immigration, and most other federal agencies.

They will be available:

Tuesday: Aberdeen
Wednesday: Taholah
Thursday: Ocean Shores

Appointments are available, but walk-ins are also welcome. Please feel free to share this information with anyone who may benefit from these services."

Grays Harbor County Emergency Management is out at the Oakville WA Chamber of Commerce’s Independence Day Parade, Festival and Car Show today! Come see us, all the amazing local vendors and some really cool cars! Parade starts at 11:00 and we’ll be here till 4:00 PM.

Hey Oakville Community,

Today’s the day! Our Independence Day Celebration is here! We’ve got the GHFD #1 FREE Pancake Breakfast at the fire station coming up from 8-10am this morning, and the parade starting at 11am—rain or shine!. There’s a car show, live music from The Pleasure Hounds, a dance contest, and a kids zone! Plus vendors will be serving delicious things to eat and offering amazing items to acquire! Come on down and check it out!

HIGHWAY 12 WILL BE CLOSED
for the annual Oakville Independence Day Parade and Celebration on June 27, 2026 from 11am-1pm or when the parade ends. There will be a detour during this time as reflected on the attached map.

Attached is a map reflecting:
-The parade route on Highway 12/Pine Street

-The thru traffic Detour

Just a quick message that the City of Oakville website is offline briefly for some overdue maintenance.

We are working on adding improvements and updates that will make navigating and finding information—as well as tasks such a bill pay, archives look up, applying for a permit, and filing a citizen report—much easier.
