Last weekend, three of our GHFD1 members graduated from Fire Academy! 🚒

We are incredibly proud of each of them for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to completing the academy and earning their certification.

Congratulations to Brian Alleman, Cassondra Rhoades, and Gregory Filer! We are fortunate to have all three of you as part of our department and appreciate your continued drive to further your skills, knowledge, and education in the fire service.

Our instructors at Grays Harbor Fire District 1 are hosting a CPR class for our community on Saturday, May 2 at 10:00 AM.

CPR CLASS IS LIMITED TO GHFD1 RESIDENTS ONLY.

While the class itself is free, you can choose to receive an official CPR certification card for a $35 fee.

Whether you're looking to be prepared in an emergency, help a loved one, or simply gain a valuable life-saving skill, we’d love to have you join us!

📧 Spots are limited, so be sure to register early by emailing [email protected] with your names of participants, your contact information, and if you are wanting a CPR card or just wanting to take the class to have the skill to secure your place.

Attention Oakville Community!

Grays Harbor County Public Health is partnering with Grays Harbor Fire District 1 on a Digital Health Access grant initiative, funded by the Department of Health.

This program helps community members connect to essential digital health resources. Public health staff may also offer blood pressure screenings, A1C testing, emergency preparedness support, and referrals for telehealth services through our clinics.

This service will be every Monday from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm here at Station 1 in Oakville.
