Oakville School District

Oakville School District The Oakville School District has a student population of approximately 350 students in P-12. Oakville is the southeastern gateway to Grays Harbor County.

The Oakville School District has a student population of approximately 318 students in Kindergarten through Grade 12 and serves all students on a unified campus. The staff includes over 50 qualified and experienced certificated and classified individuals who are committed to providing the best educational opportunities to a diverse student population. The school district consists of one elementary

(grades P-5) and one middle/high school (grades 6-12). Voters in the Oakville community have a long history of supporting school levies and bonds. 82% of our students come from low-income families and are eligible for free breakfast and lunch. These demographics make our district a Title I district, which means we receive special funding geared towards certain programs and services. Approximately 20% of our students receive Special Education services. Oakville is located in Washington State, 12 miles west of Interstate 5 on Highway 12. Its rural setting offers rustic charm combined with affordable housing and within close proximity to Puget Sound, Hood Canal, the Olympic Mountains and Pacific Ocean. It also offers the convenience of the Chehalis River and other local streams and waterways. Adding to the cultural richness of the district is the reservation of the Confederated Tribes of the Chehalis. Our district maintains close ties and working relationships with The Chehalis Tribe. Over 35% of our students are Native American.
