Wildfires can start easily and spread rapidly!
PREPARE a go bag in case of evacuations.
AVOID outdoor activities that can cause sparks.
STAY AWARE.

ONE WEEK AWAY – Free Emergency Preparedness Fair hosted by Sup. Fortunato Bas, Alameda County Fire, and the City of Emeryville. Open to ALL. Oakland Firesafe Council will be in attendance – come visit our table!

If you also like games, interactive activities, food, and free swag, you won’t want to miss this Fair.

🗓️ Date: Saturday, May 2
⏰ Time: 10am to 1pm. Workshops, games and demos offered throughout.
📍 Location: Emeryville Center of Community Life (4727 San Pablo Ave, Emeryville, CA 94608).
Parking options: San Pablo Ave/surrounding area; we encourage carpooling and use of Emery Go-Round.

Do you need to create an evacuation plan to get you and your loved ones to safety in the event of a fire or earthquake? Thouati is Berkeley's Creston Firewise lead and has been a lead spokesperson for the Berkeley FireSafe-FireWise Alliance on Zone 0 response. He's also CEO of HelpBerkeley.org.
