Today, the Burrillville Fire Departments took time to honor and remember the past members who have gone before us. We gathered for the 100th annual Firefighters Memorial Ceremony, a meaningful tradition that ensures their service, sacrifice, and legacy are never forgotten. We continue to carry their memory with us in everything we do, both on and off duty. Their dedication laid the foundation of who we are today, and we are proud to stand on that history.

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten.

On this perfect Saturday, some members assembled at the beautiful RI Fire Academy to practice pump operations as part of an ongoing driver/ operator class. 💦 🔥 🚒

Our thoughts are with the firefighters of the Searsmont Fire Department following today’s lumber mill fire and explosion. They have a difficult job ahead, and we are keeping everyone affected in our thoughts and prayers.

We are praying for a full and speedy recovery for all those injured, and for the safety of all first responders continuing to work the scene.

Monday May 18 Local Fire Departments and Hazardous Material Team will be training at Jeremy’s Propane on Clear River dr off of 102 (Broncos Hwy). Crews will be training on propane emergencies and flaring.

Tonight tankers and brush units from Burrillville companies assisted Harmony Fire with mutual aid for a large brush fire off Saw Mill Rd. Units were on scene roughly 2 hours.
