Hey there! It’s us, Bubbles and Blossom! It’s Saturday, and guess what? We hear there’s a different Handsome Dan's Rescue for Pit Bull Type Dogs worker coming to visit us today. 💬I was abandoned by my family and I was sick when I came to the shelter. I feel so good now!

🌺Me too! The people at Northern Rhode Island Animal Hospital were so nice to us and they really like us. I bet they’ll comment on our post if they see it.
💬I’m a medium energy girl. I don’t go all day long but I’m not a couch potato and I love to do my zoomies. I also like my independent time, sniffing all the smells, chomping on a ball. Cuddles and a good movie and couch time with my peeps would be great when I’m done.
🌺I like zoomies too but I chill faster and just want to hang with my peeps. I’ll follow you everywhere so you’re never lonely. No scary movies please. I like feel good stories. Happy endings are the best kind!
💬I love walks and I’ve been working on my leash skills and learning not to pull so much. This harness thing helps me learn. 🌺I’ve really gotten the hang of this part and I love to go out.

Hi folks! Our friends at Handsome Dan's Rescue for Pit Bull Type Dogs are having their fall auction celebration on 9/26 and they could use your support. They’ve done so much to help with our shelter pittie type dogs, so please show them some love. Remember our Lucy? What a lucky girl to end up in an HDR foster home, and now recently adopted into a loving new home. They are also currently helping with both Bubbles and Blossom. We will have more exciting news for you tomorrow, so stay tuned for that. We are grateful for the support of HDR and are hoping they have a very successful event.

I don’t remember my parents. People say I’m some kind of Bully mix. But I’m not a bully at all!
DO YOU LIKE THE VET?
What’s not to like? We get there by car, right? The people where I go love me and they helped me feel better. 🥰 I’ve had all the things done. It’s nothing to be afraid of. Where else can you get a whole gang of people fawning over you? It’s like being a celebrity, just no red carpet. Maybe you could buy one and lay it down for my entrance! There might be a little diva in me. 😜
FAVORITE TREAT?
I would eat anything but the jail keepers are mean here and they mostly use my kibble as treats. 😩 They say stupid stuff like it’s because I might have some food allergies. I don’t know if they’re telling me the truth but they say it’s for my own good. I think it’s dumb. 🙄
HOW IS YOUR HEARING?
I have great hearing, but if I’m busy sniffing, just save your voice. I’ll get back to you when I’m done. Oh, you say you have a ball? Coming!!!!
HOW DID YOU END UP IN A SHELTER?
I was found wandering alone and my family didn’t come for me. 😢 I was sick and the people here have really helped me. I might have said they are mean about food, but they really are kind. ❤️ Sadly, they all say they can’t take me home. 😞
WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR IN A HOME?
I just want people to love me because I have lots of love to give, people that will always take care of me. I like to go for rides and walks and I love to sniff stuff. There’s so many smells! Someone that likes to throw balls and also likes movies would be nice. A fenced yard would be really cool because - ZOOMIES! I suppose I could zoom on a long leash too, but you best hold on till I figure out the length! 😂
DESCRIBE YOUR ENERGY?
Medium. I need to do my zoomies a few times a day. We all get excited, right? I admit I’m a bit out of shape. I can’t go all day long, but I’m not a total couch potato even though I may resemble one. I’m a good mix of fun time friend and evening cuddle partner.
ARE YOU GOOD ON A LEASH?
Well, I’m working on those skills but I like to get where I’m going, ya know? Things to do, people to see. Not my fault humans only have two legs. This harness thing seems to help the person on the other end of the leash. I promise I can learn to do it better.
ARE YOU SUPER CLINGY?
I will looooove to have my own person or people and I’ll give them lots of love and attention so they’re not lonely. But I like to have some independent time too, just doing some sniffing or hanging out with a ball and snoozing in the sun and shade. Everyone needs some “me” time.
HOUSEBROKEN?
Yes! They said I’m probably crate trained too but I don’t think I need one. Maybe just when I first go home and learn the routine and settle in. I’m very neat in my kennel and I don’t even chew my blankies.
BATHS?
Oh, ok. If you say so. 🙄 I’ll just stand here but don’t get water in my ears please. And I’m NOT going swimming. I’ll sink like a stone! I will brave a kiddie pool if I have to in order to get my ball.
FAVORITE WEATHER?
Warm sun but not hot. I’m more of a Spring and Fall girl.
PLAY DRESS UP?
If you think you can make me cuter, have at it. Whatever. Maybe I should have the folks here do a photo shoot if it would help find me a home.
LIKE MEETING NEW PEOPLE?
Oh yeah! They all have interesting smells on them so it’s lots of fun to check them out. They usually like me too!

I might like a boyfriend. Of course, I will have to interview him first. We can have a chaperoned date! No funny business!

The people say my old family stole my history when they left me. So not fair! 😩 Even though I’m a really good girl, they said if you have kids, they want them to be 12+. They’ve asked me but I don’t know how to tell them if I’ve lived with small kids before and they said their job is safety first. I get it.
