To foster a strong and transparent relationship between the business community of the City of Oakland and the City of Oakland’s Revenue Division by developing and maintaining more effective means of outreach and education. To educate the public on the Business Tax Ordinance, and all programs and fees that the Revenue Division facilitates to better ensure compliance in a timely manner. Help ensure that all businesses in the city, no matter what sector or size or what neighborhood they are in, or what language they speak are informed and engaged. As well as informing all residents of refunds available for very low income property owners through Measures Z and other refunds handled by the Revenue Division
