Oakland Hills Tennis Club Oakland Hills Tennis Club is a family tennis, swim and athletic club nestled in the Oakland Hills.

We feature 10 outdoor, lighted courts, an outdoor swimming pool, hot tub, weights, cardio equipment, aerobic classes, aikido, massage, sauna, steam rooms and much, much more. Oakland Hills Tennis Club captures the ultimate "resort" feeling while still being conveniently located. With all types of classes offered, from tennis to swimming to group fitness, you'll find that you come for your health but stay because of our three bridge view.

Meet the Crew🎾

Crystal has been teaching classes at Oakland Hills for 3 years.  Originally from the L.A. area (Redondo Beach) in 2004 she and her family moved to Oakland and she spent 23 years working for Trader Joe’s.  Her love of group fitness grew after ordering workout DVD’s that helped her lose 85 lbs. and inspired her to join a gym and nervously attend classes in person.  Wanting to share the good vibes of fitness and motivate people to exercise, she got certified in a variety of class formats, and a personal trainer certification as well.  Crystal loves the feeling of community, confidence, and positive energy that group fitness brings.  She loves musical theater, watching WNBA and NBA games, and her Netflix list full of documentaries.  She and her husband Phil have been married 25 years (32 total!) and have two sons ages 22 & 24. Crystal teaches 7 classes a week, ranging from weight/strength training, cardio to mobility, and balance.  She looks forward to seeing you in class!

Meet the Crew!🎾

Sally has been teaching exercise classes at Oakland Hils for over 20 years. Born and raised in Des Moines, lowa, she lived in Denver and London before moving to San Francisco and then the East Bay. Her first career was in accounting, audit and business (she has her CPA), but she loves exercise and after the birth of her daughter decided to become a certified group fitness instructor. Now retired from her business endeavors, Sally has been playing her alto saxophone, and is part of a number of bands, ranging from concert band to swing “big band” to blues, rock and roll and jazz. She and her husband Jerry love to travel.
In the fall of 2023 they took a road trip across the US on highway 50 (it’s 3073 miles from Sacramento to Ocean City, Maryland!). This summer they will be riding Jerry’s motorcycle to Alaska and back. Plans to go back to Europe are in the hopper. Sally loves her Oakland Hills fitness family, and she would love to see you in her Cardio Mix class. She teaches Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 9am!
