TEDCO’s 2026 Entrepreneur Expo is happening Tuesday, October 27, 2026, from 8 AM to 7 PM at the Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor. In an effort to empower entrepreneurs from across Maryland to attend TEDCO's 2026 Entrepreneur Expo, TEDCO is organizing shuttle buses from select regions.

The Garrett County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a seminar on September 14th beginning at 8 AM to provide a comprehensive overview of Maryland's Paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance (FAMLI) program. Presented by by Brandon Younkin of CBIZ, this seminar is open to all Garrett County businesses.

Beginning January 1, 2027, employers and employees will begin contributing to the program, with benefits becoming available to eligible employees on January 1, 2028. Employers will also need to determine whether to participate in the State-run program or offer an approved private plan.
