CERI Retreat talks included realistic financial discussions, development, fundraising & the mandatory movement towards Medi-Cal billing. The Nepali, Indian, Tibetan dinner was deliciously prepared by Sangita, Anupama, Sriyanta, Premlata, Roshan, Premlata, Kajal, Rojina! Taghi & Nadine joined us! We meditated at a beautiful grove of magnificent redwoods, some went to Pescadero Beach before our meetings to explore the tide pools.
Kanley made the most delicious Chicken Soup Pho, while Kate and Min grilled hamburgers. We were filled with emotions, delicious food, love for one another and for CERI.

As therapists, care coordinators, program managers and healers at CERI, the ZEN, beauty, calm and serenity of being on a retreat in Pescadero meant so much to us! We are so grateful for this time to pause and reflect, find peace in our hearts, convene with nature and rejuvenate. We shared a moment of silence for our Nepali & Tibetan communities, awakened our natures’ spirit that guides us with art renditions, had wonderful role play with Georgia. Mona & Neda made a delicious Iranian Eggplant Stew, chicken with Basmati rice dinner, Weeda stewed her famous Tokhm e Bademjan Rumi for our morning breakfast. Sangita, Rojina, Ngawang & Kajal made delicious Nepali Tea! Pool time, s’mores, Jenga, singing and dancing. It was truly CERI family camaraderie.
