Hey IPV family,
This has been a long difficult process but our logs have officially been dismantled and transported to Kinmundy. 😁

As we look forward to seeing some of our history reappear, we ask for your patience while reconstruction begins. As you can imagine, an undertaking of this size takes time, money, good weather, and volunteers.

Bittersweet weekend here. Thanks to those who helped us walk thru it.

Looking forward to Independence - The Next Chapter. Robert Sr and Rob Jr brought these cabins...this little piece of History together for such a time as this. Hundreds of people throughout the last 40 years have enjoyed the peace, serenity, and education it held and the joy in bringing people together now we respectfully and lovingly pass it to our new friends at Kinmundy Log Cabin Village.

While we are saying goodbye to an era, Kinmundy Pioneer Village will be saying “Hello and Welcome” to Independence Pioneer Village.

Hey IPV fans! It’s that time again to see what nature and it’s critters have visited the cabins this winter…🥴 🦌 🐿️ 🦊 🐾
We’ll spend 2-3 weeks on clean up projects then start filling the season calendar.
There is much to be done before hearing laughter, having tea parties, taking pictures, reliving history, sharing each other’s company, listening to music, cooking out or just having coffee can be enjoyed. Let us know if you’d like to help.
