January 23rd was Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) awareness day! Thanks to everyone who came out! The Earned Income Tax Credit is a refundable tax credit available to working families to enhance their financial stability. Along with the Child Tax Credit, Additional Child Tax Credit, CalEITC, Young Child Tax Credit, and Foster Care Credit, families are able to potentially receive up to $8K to clean up debt, put into savings, purchase items for their home, etc. A refundable credit is actual money in your pocket!
