🎉 What an amazing school year!!

Today was filled with smiles, laughter, hugs, and even a few tears. As we said goodbye for the summer, one thing became very clear—you know it has been a great year when students are asking for school not to end and wishing we could add more days to the school year!

The relationships, memories, and experiences we shared this year made our school a special place to be. Thank you to our amazing students, staff, and families for making this such a successful and unforgettable year.

Have a safe, fun, and relaxing summer, Bobcats! We can't wait to see you again next year! ☀️🐾❤️

📦👀 A mysterious box appeared in all of our first grade classrooms today with warnings that said, "Be Careful” and “Do not Open until the last day of school.”

To play it safe, we took the box outside before opening them, and let's just say what happened next was something our students will not soon forget! 😲🎉

Even though our Field Day didn’t go exactly as planned, our Bobcats still had an amazing time thanks to some quick thinking and teamwork behind the scenes!

A huge shout-out to our awesome PE teachers, our incredible PTO, amazing staff, and all of our parent volunteers who helped make adjustments on the fly so students could still enjoy a fun and successful day of games, relays, and friendly competition.

We also want to extend a special thank-you to the Garrett County Sheriff's Department and the Oakland Volunteer Fire Department for coming out and joining in the fun with our students. Your support made the day even more memorable!

🎉 It Pays to Work Hard on MCAP! 🎉

Congratulations to our students in grades 3–6 for successfully completing the MCAP assessment! To celebrate their effort, we held several prize drawings after testing.

When students' names were randomly selected, teachers confirmed if they had worked hard and put forth their best effort on the MCAP. Those students were then invited to choose a gift certificate or special reward! 👏

We are so proud of our Bobcats for taking the assessment seriously and giving their best each day. Hard work, perseverance, and a positive attitude truly pay off! 🐾💙

🎉🕺Attendance Pays Off! 💃🎉

Over the past two days, we held several pop-up AttenDANCE celebrations for students who achieved our Strive for 95 attendance goal by being in school 95% or more of the school year! 👏

These dedicated Bobcats proudly wore their hard-earned brag tags and cashed them in for some sweet treats while enjoying music, dancing, and fun with friends. 🍭🎶🐾

The celebration was a huge success, and many students shared that they can't wait to Strive for 95 again next year for another chance to join the fun!

We are so proud of these outstanding Bobcats for being recognized for their teamwork and cooperation throughout the month of May. Their positive attitudes, willingness to help others, and ability to work together make them excellent role models for our school.

🎉 Our 6th graders had a blast at the Spring Fling Dance last week! 💃🕺

A huge thank you to the PTO, parent volunteers, Mr. John, and Dr. Rodeheaver for helping make this such a success.
