City hall offices will be closed today from 12 to 4 for software support training

Oakland City water bills were mailed out Tuesday so customer should receive them today or tomorrow.

Thank you for your understanding as we work to eliminate billing problems with our new software.

Water break notice:
College Street at 1st Avenue and CR 1150 E.

Oakland City Utilities are working on a break in a line on 1150 E where a citizen was digging.
The fire hydrant at College and 1st Avenue is open at this time to relieve pressure at the break.

There is NO boil order issued at this time.

City of Oakland City meeting schedule for Tuesday September 8th, 2026. These meetings are held at the Wirth Park Community center.

4:30 pm - Economic Development commission meeting
5:15 pm - Redevelopment commission meeting
5:45 pm - Board of Works meeting
6:00 pm - Common Council meeting

The Oakland City trash site will only have one entrance going in off of Oak Street. Madison Street is closed due to roadwork.
