Tickets are still $5.00 each from any OVFD firefighter or the day of the event. Also if you haven't seen our new engine and tanker yet come out and take a look! See y'all there.

URGENT ALERT! Please check your mail boxes!

If you live in the Oakhurst Area.
Mail was stolen from mailboxes this morning along the FM 946 N Corridor sometime around 9-10 am.

Reported to the Sherrif!

Our hearts and prayers go out to the Houston Fire Department families today!
Kingwood E104 was hit on the freeway by a semi truck.
4 Firefighters where inside the cab at the time.
Thank the Lord they all survived but with some serious injuries.
Not only is this a dangerous job in blocking traffic on freeways by these men and women as career.
But some also volunteer their time with local VFDs.
Ben Abbott is one of those men. He is a volunteer at Oakhurst Station 18 here in San Jacinto County.
