Members of Allegheny County Council will be hosting a regional meeting on Tuesday, June 16th at the CCAC Campus on McKee Road in North Fayette at 5:30 P.M. This is regarding a proposed bill to discuss the periodic reassessment within the county. Everyone from the public is welcome and encouraged to attend.

Don’t forget this Saturday is the License to Carry event at the Community Center.

On Saturday, June 6, 2026, the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Department will host a satellite PA License to Carry event.
The event will be held at the North Fayette Community Center at 580 Donaldson Road, Oakdale, PA 15071 from 9am -3pm.

This event is first come first serve. There will not be any appointments.
All applicants (new or renewals) must have a valid PA ID or Driver’s License, along with a completed application, and $20 cash. This event is only to serve residents of Allegheny County.

The Sheriff’s Office will also have a representative from their opioid reduction program, Project D.U.M.P., on-site to take expired and unused medications. They will not be accepting glass bottles, liquids, syringes, inhalers/insulin, or creams.

This week we are recognizing the North Fayette Township Public Works Department during National Public Works Week from May 17th - 23rd. Our Public Works Department is responsible for maintaining our roads and so many other things in our Township. We also have mechanics on hand that handle all of the maintenance of the vehicles and equipment.
We can’t thank this department enough for everything they do!
