As a public service announcement from the Oakdale Police Department, this is a reminder to keep your vehicles locked at all times. Although though we live in a safe neighborhood, Oakdale and several other surrounding communities had a number of cars entered and ransacked overnight. The vehicles had been parked outside people’s residences and were unsecured.
Anyone who may have seen or heard anything they thought was suspicious are asked to contact the Oakdale PD by calling 911. Our non-emergency number is 412-279-6911.
Let’s all stay alert and have a Safe and Happy Holiday Season!

The Oakdale Police Departments patch was selected to be featured in this months FBI Law Enforcement Bulletin, under their patch call section. Each month, two patches are selected to be featured with a description of their patches meaning or history.

Although the color of our patch has changed, the design has remained the same.

The patch of the Oakdale Borough, Pennsylvania, Police Department combines the seals of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and Allegheny County with symbols of the community’s history.
