Due to increasing costs and budget restrictions, the Allegheny County Library System is implementing a daily spending cap on Hoopla beginning May 1. This sets a dollar amount limit that, once reached, will pause checkouts until the next day.

So if you see this message when borrowing something in Hoopla, you can just wait until tomorrow and try again! Remember your personal borrowing limit stays the same at 5 items total per month.
