Don't forget to apply for our "MORE THAN A" MEAL APPLICATION! It goes so much further than just access to free or reduced meals! This helps the district with funding, Lowered internet cost for families, reduced or no fees for SAT and other testing, as well as free after school program access and so much more! Super excited to promote these new programs! We have a raffle for all students/parents to enter. Just complete our application, even if you know you won't qualify, and you will get entered in to win some amazing prizes! Just go to https://family.titank12.com/application/new?identifier=DMK77S
The application only takes 3-5 minutes to complete and we can process them immediately!

We will also be rolling out Mobile Vending Kiosks (as seen in the picture) across the OHS and OJHS campuses to increase the access to our amazing meals! On top of that we will be starting up a Vending machine program that will allow students to obtain healthy cold meals like Sub Sandwiches, Wraps, and Salads at both OHS and OJHS! we are thrilled to bring these options to our district and can't wait to see the students reactions to these new programs!

We have nutritional information, nutrition based games, lots of parent information, as well as a mobile application for your smart phone to view the menu!

School Nutrition and Fitness provides a districts nutrition services department with the tools and information needed to get the word out about the program. Providing parents students and teachers with the resources to help raise and healthy generation.

New milk boxes arrived and were delivered to all elementary sites to help manage the new growth! Also received a new oven that is awaiting install for our OHS MUSTANGS!

What a GREAT Day! We took in 11 pallets of brand new utensils and equipment that we have been waiting months for so that we can take our program to the next level! Next post will be some of the new equipment that just landed at the central kitchen. Get ready for even better food OJUSD!
