Although today’s Memorial Day Parades have been cancelled due to the rain, and the pageantry of the day has been dampened by the weather, your Chesterfield Fire Company’s tradition of having PFC Thomas Parker, a member of our Fire Company who never made it home, ride the apparatus with us today to keep his memory alive is not deterred by the weather.
Firefighter Thomas Parker gave his life in the service of the United States Marine Corps as Private First Class Thomas Parker.
