As one major project wraps up, another one begins at the Y-12 National Security Complex. Our crews are finishing demolition prep at Beta-1 and starting deactivation at Beta-4. The former Manhattan Project uranium enrichment building spans the equivalent of nearly seven football fields!

This marks a significant step forward in our effort to remove hazards, enable modernization, and open space for important national security missions at Y-12.
