⏰ Reminder: The Scarboro 85 Monument groundbreaking is Thursday at AK Bissel Park!

Our community will gather at 10:00 a.m. to mark the beginning of a powerful new tribute honoring the 85 courageous Black students who integrated Oak Ridge High School and Robertsville Junior High School in 1955.

More than a construction milestone, this groundbreaking represents years of dedication to ensuring their courage, experiences, and impact are remembered for generations to come.

Thank you Farragut West Knox Chamber of Commerce for hosting!

We don’t always get the chance to step away from the day-to-day, so we’re always glad when we can make time for lunch with some of our Chamber friends!

Our own Suzanne Krygier was joined by fellow Chamber membership directors Jessi O’Lear Webb with the Gatlinburg Chamber of Commerce (Gatlinburg Convention and Visitors Bureau), Norm Nelson with Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce, Brandy Dominguez with Pigeon Forge Chamber, and Jessica Hahn with Blount Partnership for a Chamber Membership Directors Lunch.

It’s nice to spend time with people who understand the highs, lows, celebrations, and challenges that come with Chamber membership work. We always leave these lunches with a few new ideas, some encouragement and plenty of laughs.

And of course, we love any excuse to support a local Chamber member like 35 North Farragut Bar & Grill while catching up with friends!
