Junior Woman's Club of Jefferson Township

The Junior Woman's Club of Jefferson is actively seeking new members! Our Club contributes money to charity on three levels.

If you live in Jefferson Twp (any part!) and are 18+, (any age 18+!) we welcome you to join our efforts in serving our community. We are a Community Service Organization that gives members the opportunity to meet new people, socialize and form lasting friendships while working together to achieve a common goal. Our National Junior Director with her Executive Board selects national projects from wh

ich two are chosen by Junior Clubs throughout the country as the charities they would like to support for a two year period. On the State level, all projects are voted upon by the Junior Clubs in New Jersey every other year. Past State Projects have been to support Child Abuse Prevention, Spina Bifida, Lyme's Disease, Alzheimer's Association, and Seeing Eye Dogs. Locally, Juniors can choose any charity or organization in which to disburse their funds. Within our own area, we disburse where there is a need for local assistance and to individuals in the form of scholarships. The recipients may change from year to year. What We Are:
A volunteer community service organization, affiliated with the world's oldest and largest non-denomination non-partisan, international women's volunteer organization; The General Federation of Women's Clubs headquartered in Washington D.C. The New Jersey State Federation of Women's Clubs of GFWC - Junior Membership is a statewide organization providing education, training and interaction opportunities for volunteers who are committed to individual growth and community involvement, enriching the quality of life throughout New Jersey and the world. Our Purpose

To promote friendships among young persons, to advance the education and social welfare of the community and to carry on the worthwhile work of The General Federation of Women's Clubs and GFWC New Jersey. In addition to our projects and fundraisers we also find time throughout the year to organize a few social events with our husbands and children as well as provided a source for playgroups and other children's activities.

Oh wow! When the Easter Bunny got back home last night, it reached out to the Junior Woman’s Club of Jefferson Twp with a special thank you message. 🤯 🐰

“Dear Jefferson Township - I am so HOPPY that you invited me to come to your Bunny Brunch yesterday! I had the best time. Jefferson Township families are so much fun - it was well worth the trip!
I wanted to also say thank you to the 3 children who gave me a special keepsake to treasure! 💗
I loved taking some many pictures with everyone. The kindness in Jefferson Twp is amazing - and I hope to be invited back next year 🤞 Hope everyone has a beautiful Easter! “🐣

Lucky 11…ever wonder why 11 is such a special number?

Well, according to Google- The number 11 is considered a lucky number primarily due to its status as a "master number" in numerology, which is associated with intuition, spiritual enlightenment, and inspiration.

The number 11 is also special due to its mathematical properties, including being a prime number and its connection to Pascal's triangle.

The time 11:11 is often associated with numerology, spirituality, and making a wish. It is considered a significant "angel number" or a moment of synchronicity, a sign of being on the right path, or a reminder to pause and be mindful.

But the real reason is because that’s how many wishes we have left to fill. 11 opportunities to make a kid smile and give a parent the satisfaction of being able to give their kid a happy holiday when they otherwise couldn’t.
