The Heritage Day subcommittee will meet in person on Monday, June 1, 2026, at 2:00pm in the conference room at Town Hall.

The Tree Committee will meet in person on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 10:00am in the conference room at Town Hall.

The monthly Town Council Meeting will be held in person and on YouTube on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 7:00 pm in the Council Chambers of Town Hall.

The Water Tower is getting ready for a makeover! Crews have begun media blasting the surface, which involves propelling abrasive material at high speed against the surface to create a surface profile that helps new paint adhere properly. Painting will begin once this process is complete. This final phase of the Water Tower project is highly dependent on favorable winds and weather conditions, so keep your eyes on the skyline as construction enters its final stages!

Upcoming Meeting Information for the Town of Oak Ridge FOR THE WEEK OF MAY 25, 2026:

Due to forecasted wet ground conditions over the weekend, the Memorial Day ceremony scheduled for Monday, May 25, 2026, at 10 a.m. will be held in council chambers at Oak Ridge Town Hall located at 8315 Linville Road.

The Mountains-to-Sea Trail Committee will meet in person on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 6 p.m. in the conference room at Oak Ridge Town Hall.

The Board of Adjustment will not meet on Thursday, May 28, 2026, due to no agenda items.

The Planning & Zoning Board will meet in person on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 7 p.m. in the council chambers at Oak Ridge Town Hall.
