Sabra Beauchamp Announces Re-Election Campaign for Anderson County Commission District 7

Anderson County Commissioner Sabra Beauchamp has
officially announced her candidacy for re-election to represent the citizens of District 7 on the Anderson County Commission.

Since taking office, Beauchamp has built a reputation as a dedicated public servant
committed to fiscal responsibility, transparency, and accountable government. Throughout
her tenure, she has worked to ensure taxpayer dollars are spent wisely while advocating for
open and transparent decision-making on behalf of Anderson County residents.

"It has been an honor and privilege to serve the people of District 7," said Beauchamp. "I
believe government works best when it is transparent, fiscally responsible, and focused on
serving the people. I am proud of what we have accomplished together, and I am asking for
the opportunity to continue that work."

Beauchamp currently serves on several key county committees, including the Audit
Committee, Budget Committee, Non-Profit Committee, Opioid Settlement Committee,
Rules Committee, Legal Services Advisory Committee, and Animal Advisory Committee. She also serves as a member of the Anderson County Detention Facility Work Release
Program and the Claxton School Task Force.

In addition to her committee service, Beauchamp serves as the Parliamentarian for the
Anderson County Commission, helping ensure meetings are conducted fairly, efficiently,
and in accordance with established rules and procedures.

During her time on the Commission, Beauchamp has been a leading voice for fiscal
responsibility and transparency in county government. Her work has focused on safeguarding taxpayer resources, strengthening accountability, and ensuring residents have confidence in the decisions being made on their behalf.

"As our county continues to grow and face new opportunities and challenges, we need
experienced leadership that understands the importance of responsible budgeting and
thoughtful planning," Beauchamp said. "I will continue working to protect taxpayer dollars,
support public safety, strengthen county services, and ensure every citizen's voice is
heard."

It is so important to vote in your local elections, so get out and vote!!

I have no primary election but I would still love to have your vote in the Republican primary for District 7.

⚠️ Tennessee Primary Election Law Explained ⚠️

When a voter requests a Republican or Democrat primary ballot in Tennessee, they must sign an Application for Ballot affidavit like the one shown here.

By signing this affidavit, the voter is declaring under penalty of perjury that:

• They are registered and eligible to vote in their precinct
• They have not already voted in the election
• If voting in a primary election, they are a bona fide member of or affiliated with the political party whose ballot they request, or they declare allegiance to that party and intend to affiliate with it.

This requirement comes from Tennessee Code Annotated § 2-7-115, which governs how voters request a party ballot in a primary election.

Primary elections exist so political parties choose their own nominees, and this affidavit is part of protecting that process.
