Oak Park Regional Housing Center HUD certified housing nonprofit providing renting and homeowning resources.

The Oak Park Regional Housing Center is a HUD-certified agency that has been operating as a nonprofit Housing Center in the community since 1972. We maintain our mission of promoting and sustaining diversity and integration in Oak Park and the Greater West Side. We provide assistance for renters, homeowners, property owners, and industry professionals through our programs: the Live in Oak Park and

the West Cook Homeownership Center. Our Services and Initiatives:
- Provide renters in Oak Park and beyond with apartment listings that match their needs
- Guide renters through their apartment search with our Rental Counselors
- Provide homebuyer and homeowner education and individual counseling
- Provide credit and debt management
- Keep the community updated on fair housing rulings
- Provide homeowner and rental financial assistance to eligible individuals
- Protect and uphold fair housing laws and initiatives
- Promote diversity, integration, equity, and inclusion throughout the communities we serve
- All services are free!

“Affordable housing for all who need it”… that’s the goal!

The Housing Authority of Cook County (HACC) has opened its site-based wait list for one-, two-, and three-bedroom project-based voucher (PBV) units at the Union Apartments, an affordable housing community for families, located at 231 Wheeling Road, Wheeling IL 60090. The PBV Program is a rental assistance program where the resident pays 30% of his/her income towards the rent.

Applications must be submitted electronically through the website; no other form of application will be accepted. The wait list will close at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 3, 2023. Applicants will be placed on the wait list by a randomized lottery.
