The more lefty Democrats have moved to remove the Dave Woodward, the Democrat who heads the County commission. They've boycotted meetings because he's not anti ICE enough, and they can't wait til the normal election to remove him. You'll find the language on your ballot. Dave's been OK in my opinion.

We dump barely sanitized sewage into Lake St Clair because we have a combined sewage system, we mix toilet water with rain water and when there is too much rain, the mix is dumped. It should be disconnected, bit by bit. The more rainwater you send to the river without mixing with toilet water, the less often you'll poison the lake. Save Lake St. Clair.

Oakland County just dumped over 159,000,000 Gallons of Combined Sewage overflow into Macomb. Yep, you read that correct. Over 150 MILLION gallons during 3 separate dumps in a single month time frame. People think we are just making up numbers but see the attached screenshot in the comment section taken directly from the DEQ OWN WEBSITE where the actual numbers are reported.

Did you know that Oakland averages over 1 Billion gallons of combined sewage overflow each year they dump into Macomb.

This is endangering our water. This is a danger to our fishery and wildlife. This is helping fuel the toxic muck growth along our shoreline. This is fixable and we do not need to live like this.

Why are we the only ones that will report this? When will this ever end? When will Oakland be forced to clean up their aftermath of dumping into Macomb?

The old Zug Island steel plant was a disaster. A new plant would be very welcome, not only for the jobs. We could use the steel. Just make sure it isn't nearly as polluting as the old plant.

Now is a good time to start planting vegetable seeds, like tomatoes and zucchini. Also trees and flowers. I sometimes put down a layer of newspaper, around the planting, and then set mulch on top of it. The mulch holds rainwater, the newspaper helps prevent damaging w**d growth.

Virginia Democrats just redistricted Gerrymandered to provide four additions Democrats congressional seats while removing four Republicans. It's old time politics, ugly but legal. California did the same, as did Texas and Michigan.
