🏌🏽‍♀️🏌🏽‍♀️🏌🏽‍♀️ Girls Golf!

We’re checking in on Girls Golf this week! Coach McMurray notes that they have a massive team this year, with 24 golfers total! Ten girls round out the varsity team, which has been having an excellent season thus far, going 6-0 in dual matches.

Senior Captain Nadia Vattana has been on fire and looks primed for another run downstate. The Huskies are looking forward to a competitive conference tournament this season and hope to advance in the IHSA State Series.

“The team is getting better and having fun, and I look forward to what the rest of the season brings!”

The photos are from their 184-218 win against conference opponent Willowbrook late last month at Indian Boundary Golf Course.

The girls are away this evening against Glenbard West at Glendale Lakes Golf Club.

If you haven’t already, please come take your photo on Wednesday, Sept. 16 in the Student Commons from 9:15 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. VIP photographers will be on site, and this will be your last opportunity to have your photo taken this year.

💜 Friday Feature💜 Part 1: Foodie Friday Edition!
🧁🧁🧁 Baking and Pastry classes dug into their first lab of the year on Thursday: Banana Streusel Muffins! Teams of chefs peeled bananas, stirred batter, filled muffin tins, did the dishes, baked their muffins to perfection, and tasted their healthy baked goods, all in one class period. 😋

The muffins are part of the quick bread unit, which will be followed by numerous cookie projects, including a portion of the 3,000 cookies being made for Back-to-School Night! Also coming up in the near future are cinnamon rolls and cheddar jalapeño biscuits!

🥗🍴 We are continuing our Foodie Friday series for 2026–2027! The first Friday of every month is a chance to celebrate all the amazing work happening in our culinary classes!
