Meet Your Board!
VP of Communications and Marketing – Ronald Higginbotham

Ron has over 25 years of work experience in the telecommunications, aerospace, finance, and entertainment industries.
He has managed many domestic and international projects with large capital valuations spanning both private and public
sectors. Before joining AT&T (DirecTV) as a Project Manager, Ron worked locally and abroad for companies such as
Hughes Aircraft, HE Microwave, Raytheon, The Aerospace Corporation (NOAA, ICO, and Alcatel Espace), Nortel
Networks, and LogicaCMG (Vodafone UK, and Tesco.com). Ron has previously volunteered as the Director of
Membership, and desires to continue to grow the chapter in his new role.

VP of Finance and Administration – Paula Lemons

Mrs. Lemons has extensive experience within administration, finance, human resources and personnel arenas in both the
public and private sector. She holds a B.A. degree in Political Science with emphasis on Public Administration from the
University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She recently obtained her MBA from California Southern University.

She is currently seeking her Doctor in Ministry, Christian Counseling (Christian Bible College and Seminary). In addition,
she will enter into the Juris Doctorate program at California Southern University in June, 2015. As well, she holds two
Executive Certificates: one in Project Management earned from UCLA Extension with distinction and the other in
Business Administration from the Mendoza Business College at Notre Dame.

She recently earned her certificate of completion of the WEV (Women’s Economic Venture) fourteen weeks SET with the
Program emphasizing on Marketing and Business Development. She received her WEV pin indicating her successful
completion of a Business Plan. She is the co-author of Tips from Top Financial Officers: What Your Finance Team Needs
to Know and the author of A CFO for All Seasons.
