A huge THANK YOU to Volusia County, Councilman Danny Robins, Road & Bridge Manager Mark Robic, and the entire Road & Bridge crew for their hard work and dedication in helping the City of Oak Hill.

From Putnam Grove Road to Turnbull Creek, this drainage area is not owned or maintained by either the City of Oak Hill or Volusia County. However, recognizing the importance of keeping water flowing and improving drainage on the west side of our community, Volusia County stepped up and cleaned the ditch at their own expense.

Their willingness to lend a hand and invest resources into a project that directly benefits Oak Hill residents demonstrates what true partnership and public service look like. Improved drainage helps protect homes, roads, and property, especially during Florida’s rainy season.

We sincerely appreciate Councilman Danny Robins, Mark Robic, and the entire Road & Bridge team for going above and beyond to help our community. Thank you for making a positive difference for the residents of Oak Hill!

The City Of Oak Hill was pleased to join local leaders from across Volusia County at the Volusia league of cities meeting, hosted by the City of Edgewater.

Mayor Taylor, Commissioner’s Hyatt, Werning, and Drollinger along with our Deputy City Clerk Megan Jones attended the event to connect, exchange ideas and discuss ways to better support our neighboring communities.

Shout out to the City of Edgewater for hosting such a great event and bringing together leaders throughout the county.
