Over the past three years, we’ve been grateful for the support of the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois, which has helped create meaningful opportunities for Embrace residents to explore their creativity through art.

Along the way, we’ve watched something wonderful grow: residents becoming more engaged in art projects and a partnership with Christian Life Middle School in Rockford, IL, bringing an intergenerational dimension to the experience.

Art has become more than an activity, it’s a way to connect, create, share, and build relationships across generations.

Thank you, Community Foundation of Northern Illinois, Christian Life Middle School, Embrace residents, and everyone who has helped bring these experiences to life.

Thanks to a generous grant from the Truist Bank, exciting things are happening at the Embrace Living Communities Orchard Place of Sarasota!

Through partnerships with Gulf Coast Music Therapy, the Arts Center of Sarasota, Fit Group USA, and The Roaming Petal, residents are enjoying music therapy, art classes, Cardio Drumming, Low Impact HIIT, and seasonal floral workshops.

And residents are telling us what these experiences mean to them:

“Singing with you and everyone here changes my whole mood.”

“They have other activities, but this is by far my favorite one. I have it in my calendar for the year.”

"I am so glad you come on Friday afternoons; it is the best way to start the weekend, which can be a little tough sometimes, but not after spending Friday afternoons this way."

These programs are more than activities. They create opportunities for friendship, movement, creativity, self-expression, and joy. We are incredibly grateful to the Truist Bank for helping us bring meaningful experiences to the Orchard Place of Sarasota residents.

We believe that when we share what we learn, we strengthen our entire field.

This fall, Embrace’s Jennifer Truppa , Director of Operations, and Alina Serban, Development and Communications Manager, will represent Embrace Living Communities at two national conferences.

At LeadingAge, they’ll share strategies from our work supporting residents and strengthening housing stability. At the International Council on Active Aging, they’ll explore how authentic storytelling and emerging technology can help organizations grow their impact.

Creativity has a beautiful way of bringing generations together.

Residents at the Albert and Bernie Wong Senior Living community shared their talents through a special exhibit celebrating their creativity, stories, and unique perspectives. And behind the camera was Zoe, one of our summer interns, capturing the moments and helping us share their stories beyond our community.

It’s a wonderful example of what can happen when generations come together, residents sharing their experiences and talents, and young people bringing their own curiosity, energy, and perspective.

At Embrace Living, these are the connections we love to see: generations learning from one another, stories being shared, and community coming to life.

Welcome to the Embrace family, Brementowne Manor!

We’re excited to share that Embrace Living Communities is now managing Brementowne Manor Senior Apartments in Tinley Park.

For us, growth is about more than adding communities, it’s about expanding our mission and creating opportunities to positively impact more lives.

We’re grateful for the warm welcome and excited for all that lies ahead as we work together to create a community where residents can continue to live with dignity, independence, connection, and a strong sense of belonging.

Colors of Change: Fresh perspectives. Shared purpose. Lasting impact.

Our 2026 Annual Meeting brought Embrace Living Communities staff together for two days of learning, connection, reflection, and collaboration.

From Fair Housing training and meaningful conversations about getting to know one another, to scenario-based collaboration, resident satisfaction, leadership discussions, and creating something stronger together, the days were filled with opportunities to learn from one another and strengthen the work we do every day.

Most importantly, we were reminded that change happens when we come together with a shared purpose.

Thank you to our incredible staff, presenters, leadership, and everyone who helped make this year’s Annual Meeting meaningful and memorable.

Big thanks to our keynote speaker Pastor Fredrick Wilson, to Leslie Tucker, Fair Housing expert, to the Embrace staff for presenting engaging and informative sessions, and to the Village of Bensenville for hosting us.

We all had so much fun at the Embrace Living Communities staff annual picnic! A carnival themed gathering that brought us all closer to one another. With great energy, we are now going to continue serving our residents.
