Happening right now at Featherstone!

Senior MVRHS Student, Kayleigh Bollin, has created a photography exhibition addressing and bringing awareness to mental health as her capstone project. She has been working hard at this for two and a half months. The topics are eating disorders, depression, drinking and driving, social media addiction, and recovery. These pictures are intense which is why there is a trigger warning. The opening reception is Sunday, January 23rd - today! - from 4-6pm at Featherstone in Oak Bluffs. It will be open as well Monday January 24th till the 27th from 1-4pm everyday

• Potters' wheels
• Kilns
• Ceramics materials (clay, etc.)
(We can't accept lead-based glazes, and we don't need any plaster molds.)

• Easels
• Dress forms and mannequins
• Artists' paints and unused brushes
(We don't need fabric, yarn, or sewing machines.)

• DSLRs or other digital still cameras
• Medium (120mm) or large-format film cameras (we don't need 35mm SLRs, although we'd use newer 35mm lenses!)
• Frames
(We don't need enlargers or other darkroom equipment.)

• Modeling clay (FIMO or Sculpey, not plasticine)
• Tabletop artists' mannequins (poseable drawing figures, hands, etc.)
• Modeling miniatures
• Floral accessories for crafting - faux bark, artificial moss, etc.
• Decorative paper punches
• X-Acto knives and mat cutters (handles)
• Drafting templates
• Balsa wood

• Tripods
• Digital video cameras that use SD cards (not tape-based cameras)
• Arduino and Raspberry Pi microcontroller boards

While we have been unable to hold our traditional in-person Evening of the Arts for the past two years, we wanted to share all the wonderful artwork that our talented students have been producing despite the setbacks of the pandemic. We hope you enjoy the show!
