Buzz Blankenship Memorial Trade Scholarship "BUZZFEST" is (what we hope will be) an annual event to raise money for the Buzz Blankenship Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Our Dad, Buzz, was a fourth generation islander that truly loved to call Martha’s Vineyard home. He took pride in helping people with their locks, their homes or any other tinkering projects they would call on him for. He touched all of us with his kindness, generosity, dependability and wit. To honor Buzz’s memory, with the help from friends, the Buzz Blankenship Scholarship Fund (501c3) has been established at the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School. This scholarship is intended for a graduating senior who wishes to pursue a career in the building trades industry. Our intensions is that is senior with similar qualities of Buzz will receive the scholarship and continue the “Vineyard” generosity for years to come.
