Invitation to Bid

The Town of O'Kean is now accepting sealed bids for a John Deere 4100 Tractor. The tractor has 1,444 hours on it.

Sealed bids will be opened publicly on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 12:00 PM. at 224 Main Street, O'Kean
Sealed bids must be turned in prior to that time.

Minimum bid: $5,000

The bids MUST BE IN A SEALED ENVELOPE MARKED WITH JOHN DEERE 4100 TRACTOR written on the front.

Labor Day Route Changes: Monday’s residential routes will be run on Tuesday, September 8th. We will begin Monday routes on Tuesday morning, and then do as much as possible of the Tuesday routes. We will finish Tuesday routes on Wednesday morning if necessary, and then we will do Wednesday routes. The office will be closed for Labor Day, Monday September 7th.

O'Kean Residents....The USDA Food Distribution is Wednesday , September 2,2026. If you are interested in us picking up your distribution to bring to O'Kean for you and haven't filled out an application, please contact me at (870) 758-3222. I have applications available to get this set up for you and the income limits. This is a very good program and we want to make sure it is easily available for our O'Kean Residents. If you have already filled out an application, we will be bringing you your distribution Wednesday.

Trash routes will be run on Tuesday instead of Monday next week.

Memorial Day Route Changes: Monday’s residential routes will be run on Tuesday, May 26th. We will begin Monday routes on Tuesday morning and then do as much as possible of the Tuesday routes. We will finish Tuesday routes on Wednesday morning if necessary, and then we will do Wednesday routes. We will be closed for Memorial Day, Monday May 25th.
